Steam Inhalation

Materials Needed:

  • Saucepan
  • Water
  • Essential Oil Choice
  • Towel

Procedure

  1. Fill saucepan about halfway with water and bring to boil.
  2. Remove saucepan from heat source.
  3. Add essential oil to the water.
  4. Lean over saucepan and cover your head with the towel, so that you are trapping and inhaling the steam.

Caution: Be sure you are safely away from the heat source before covering your head with the towel. Be sure you are inhaling the steam, but not so close that it is burning your skin.
