What ingredients do you use?
Our products are handcrafted with high-quality natural ingredients including herbs, essential oils, fragrance oils, and natural waxes (soy wax). We're transparent about all ingredients on every product page.
Do you list all ingredients?
Yes, we provide complete ingredient lists on all product pages. If you have specific allergy concerns, please review ingredients carefully or contact us before ordering.
How long do products last?
- Teas & Herbs: 1-2 years when stored properly (cool, dry place)
- Tinctures: 3-5 years
- Candles: Indefinite shelf life, burn time varies by size
- Sprays & Roll-Ons: 1-2 years
- Custom Products: Shelf life provided with your order
Why do my candles look frosty?
Natural soy wax can develop a white, frosty appearance over time — this is completely normal and doesn't affect the candle's quality or performance!
To remove frosting from votives:
- Buff with a dry cloth, OR
- Add a drop of oil to your cloth and buff gently
Are your products organic?
We use organic and wildcrafted herbs whenever possible. Product descriptions note when items are certified organic.
Are your products safe during pregnancy?
Some herbs are not recommended during pregnancy. Please consult with your healthcare provider before using any herbal products while pregnant or nursing.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and PayPal through our secure checkout.
Is your checkout secure?
Yes! Our site uses SSL encryption and secure payment processing through BigCommerce and Square.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Orders can be modified or cancelled within 24 hours of placement. After that, orders may already be in production. Contact us immediately at info@herbanherbalist.com if you need to make changes.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?
Yes! Some products offer bulk discounts. Contact us at info@herbanherbalist.com for wholesale inquiries on larger orders.

How long does shipping take?
- Processing: 2-4 business days (made-to-order items may take longer)
- Shipping: 3-7 business days via USPS
- Total: 5-11 business days from order to delivery
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship within the United States.
My package is lost or damaged. What do I do?
Contact us within 48 hours at info@herbanherbalist.com with your order number and photos (if damaged). We'll help resolve the issue.
When do you ship orders?
Orders are processed and shipped Monday–Friday. Orders placed on weekends will be processed starting the following Monday.

How do I get custom products made for me?
Book a personalized consultation first. After your session, we'll create custom formulations tailored to your specific needs.

Can I order custom products without a consultation?
No. All custom products require an initial consultation to ensure safety and effectiveness for your individual needs.
How long does it take to receive custom products?
Custom products typically take 7–14 business days from consultation to delivery, as they're handcrafted specifically for you.
☘ Product Usage & Care
How do I use tinctures?
Follow the suggested use instructions on your product label. If you have questions about usage, book a consultation.
Always check the suggested use on your specific product label, as dosages may vary depending on the herbs and strength of the formula.
How do I store herbal products?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Tinctures should be kept in dark bottles (as they come). Teas should be in airtight containers.
Can I use multiple products together?
Yes! Our products are designed to complement each other. If you have questions about combining products, book a consultation.
How do I use ritual candles?
Light your candle with intention. Many customers meditate, journal, or perform rituals while the candle burns. Each candle comes with suggested uses.
How should I care for my candles?
- Trim wick to 1/4" before each burn
- Burn for 2–3 hours at a time for even wax pool
- Keep away from drafts
- Stop burning when 1/2" of wax remains
- Natural frosting on soy wax is normal — buff with cloth if desired
⇄ Returns & Exchanges
Can I return a product?
Due to health safety regulations and the handcrafted nature of our products, we do not accept returns. All sales are final. Please review product descriptions carefully before ordering.
What if I receive a damaged product?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@herbanherbalist.com with photos. We'll send a replacement.
What if I'm allergic to an ingredient?
Please review all ingredient lists carefully before ordering. We cannot accept returns due to allergies, but we're happy to help you choose products before purchase.

All products are handcrafted by Bonnie Landsee, a Certified Master Herbalist with 30+ years of experience and member of the American Herbalists Guild (AHG).
Where are products made?
All products are handcrafted in small batches in Rosendale, Wisconsin, USA.
Do you have a physical store?
We're primarily online but attend local markets and events. Follow us on social media for upcoming event announcements.
