When I was 19 years old, one book would change my life. While working as a nursing assistant at a hospital, one of the nurses recommended a book called "Fit For Life". It was about food combining and led me to the natural health food co-op for ingredients I had never heard of before.
It was there that I discovered herbs and an entire world of natural healing. After seeing an ad for crystal healing classes, and being a lover of crystals, I took 8 levels of crystal healing from Diane Bloom. It was through Diane Bloom that I learned Reiki and earned my Reiki Master Teacher in 2006.
I wanted to be more hands-on with helping people which led me to massage school and getting my CMT (Certified Massage Therapist). As a part of massage school I had the honor of attending 2 aromatherapy seminars taught by Kathi Keville where I was drawn into an entirely new aspect of herbs: the essential oils.
After using herbs for health and wellness for years, I discovered that there were ways that herbs could help us spiritually when I started training in Sanse in 2012. Through everything that I have studied, every path brought me back to herbs. I decided to finalize and formalize my herbal education and earned my master herbalist certification from Demetria Clark in 2016.
On New Year's Day 2015 my daughter told me a story of someone she knew who was buying cheap lotion and peddling it as natural. I thought to myself, "I can make a truly natural lotion that is safer for people to use." That was when Herban Herbalist was born.
After all the years of learning, it was time to tie together everything that I had learned and do what I love doing the most, creating products. A concept that I learned from Diane Bloom is, we are not healers, we are healing facilitators. I wholeheartedly believe in this. I am not a healer, but I can provide tools and knowledge to help you on your way.
I started Herban Herbalist out of a desire to help people heal themselves not only physically, but spiritually as well. My first spiritual product that I sold was energy clearing smudge spray that I started making for myself in 2009. That original formula is still one of my most popular products today.
From there it expanded to soy wax candles, next came herbal tea blends and infused honeys to promote wellness. Vending at farmers markets and other events for several years, I found that often people would come up to me with questions or issues, so I decided it was time to offer consultations to meet the unique needs people had.
Herban Herbalist is about helping you whole-istically: body, mind, spirit, and environment; and assisting you in your healing journey. Whether you need a tea blend, a candle, or just someone to talk to about what's going on, I'm here.

What I Believe
I am not a healer. I'm a healing facilitator. That's a concept I learned from Diane Bloom early on, and it stuck with me because it's true. I can't heal you, but I can give you the tools and knowledge to help you heal yourself.
Everything I've studied, from herbalism to Reiki to Sanse, has taught me that real wellness isn't just physical. Your body, your mind, your spirit, and your environment all matter. If one of those is off, you feel it everywhere.
That's what Herban Herbalist is built around. Whether you come to me for a tea blend, a spiritual consultation, or just need someone to talk through what's going on, I'm here to meet you where you are.
What I Make & Do
Everything is made by hand in small batches. If it has my name on it, I made it myself.
Teas, Tinctures & Honeys
Custom blends, herbal tinctures, and infused honeys. Started at farmers markets and still at the core of what I do.
Aromatherapy
Sprays and roll-ons blended for specific purposes. I got into oils through Kathi Keville's seminars and never looked back.
Candles & Spiritual Tools
Soy wax candles, smudge sprays, spiritual baths, and ritual kits. My original smudge spray from 2009 is still a bestseller.
One-on-One Consultations
After years of people coming up to me at markets with questions, I started offering sessions. Herbal, spiritual, or both. We talk through what's going on and I put together something specific for you.

What products do you sell?
Herbal tea blends, tinctures, infused honeys, soy wax candles, aromatherapy sprays and roll-ons, smudge sprays, spiritual baths, and ritual kits. You can also build a custom tea blend through the Herban Herbalist app and order it directly.
How do consultations work?
You book online or through the app. Sessions start at $25. We talk through what you're experiencing and I put together personalized recommendations, which might include teas, tinctures, spiritual work, or a combination.
Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. Everything ships from Rosendale, Wisconsin. I also vend at local farmers markets and events if you're in the area.
