RELAXING TONIC, HERBAL EXTRACT FOR CALM AND EASE
I made this three-herb formula for the kind of stress that builds up and doesn't let go. It's simple on purpose: three well-chosen herbs that promote relaxation and support emotional well-being without making you drowsy.
The Formula
Lemon balm is one of the most gentle and versatile herbs in Western herbalism, traditionally valued for its ability to support a positive mood and a calm state of mind.
Motherwort is a traditional nervine herb whose very name reflects its long history as a calming botanical.
Kava kava brings a Polynesian tradition of deep relaxation support, valued for promoting a sense of ease without drowsiness.
Traditional Uses
Lemon balm has been used since the Middle Ages to promote calm and support emotional well-being. The great herbalist Paracelsus called it "the elixir of life." Motherwort has a long tradition in both European and Chinese herbalism for supporting the nervous system and emotional balance. Kava kava has been central to Pacific Island ceremonial and social traditions for thousands of years, valued for its relaxation-promoting qualities.
Directions
Take 10 to 30 drops in water or juice, once or twice a day. Start with a lower dose and work up.
Perfect For
- Those overwhelmed days when you need a moment of calm
- An afternoon reset when stress is building
- Supporting emotional balance during demanding seasons
- Pairs well with my Tranquility Lavender Spray and Serenity Votives
Ingredients: 45% grain alcohol, Melissa officinalis (lemon balm), Leonurus cardiaca (motherwort), Piper methysticum (kava kava root)

Consult your healthcare provider before use if pregnant, nursing, taking medications (especially sedatives, thyroid meds, blood thinners, heart meds), or if you have liver disease or thyroid disorders.
