How To Cleanse Your Environment
Do you feel drained? Do you have no ambition to do anything once you're home? You may have a case of stagnant energy in your home and it's time to cleanse that out. Regardless of the method you use, be sure to open windows and doors so that the negative energy can leave.
1. Incense. You can burn cleansing incense in your home. Be sure to open windows and doors and use the incense to cleanse. Walk around your home with the incense, making sure you pray or set your intention, and start from the top floor working your way down. And on each level, start from the back and make your way to the front.
2. Smudge. Light your smudge stick and follow the directions listed in step one. Again, be sure to open windows and doors.
3. Spray. Sometimes you may find yourself in a situation where you can't burn incense or smudge. You can make a simple cleansing spray using distilled water and essential oils. Following the method described in step 1, move through you home spraying each room.
4. Floor Wash. You can make a tea using cleansing herbs. For a list of herbs, click here. Add a cup of tea to your washing water. You can also add a few drops of Florida Water if you would like. For washing floors, follow the method it step one and when you are done, dump the water outside of your house. You can also add a cup of tea to wash water for windows and walls as well.
